Greetings, and welcome to my blog. I am the main person who operates this blog. Ok, I'm the only person who operates this blog. But I was trying to sound professional. Anyways, this blog's really about nothing. Just my thoughts on whatever comes to my mind. Hope it doesn't suck. Haha.

I Want A Girl With Good Dividends.

Alright, short blog this evening, because frankly, I'm tired as a motherf&@$er. Now, you ask "why are you blogging when you could be sleeping instead?" And to that I say..................

Goodnight.

Only joking.

Alright, as I said, I'll keep this brief. Tonight, I had planned to go see the supposed 12:00 premiere (this'll make sense in a few) of the film Dinner for Schmucks with my best friend and a few other friends of mine, but well, let's just say that, long story short, those plans kinda didn't happen. One friend was going with a cousin instead, and the other friend just.........well, wasn't going. So it was myself and two of my friends going to the theater, and super pumped about the movie. So, we get to the theater, and go in. We immediately notice something strange about the movie theater. Mainly that literally almost nobody is there. Regardless of this, we walk in and go to the theater. The guy working there politely (God bless him) tells us that the film is actually TOMORROW evening at midnight and that basically, we were 24 hours early to the film's premiere. We felt like schmucks. So, we did the logical thing after such a thing happened to us: we went and got dinner. Ah, the circle of life.

Well, anyways, we're trying again tomorrow. Hopefully this goes better than tonight. Alas, it was still an interesting night and definitely worth my time. I mean, I'm blogging at 2 in the morning about it, for God's sake. If that doesn't tell you about it, nothing well. But, now, I'm off to sleep. Stay sane, everyone.

Peace and love.

I'm A Driver, I'm A Winner. Things Are Gonna Change, I Can Feel It.

Remember what I said in my last blog? Yeah. Here's more of that promised debauchery. ;)

So, good news: today was the last day of this semester of college for me. I've finished two semesters of college thus far, which I think is technically a year of college. Go me. Sure, it's a community college, not..........say, Canisius College, but I mean, it's still college, right? Thankfully, I've done well in all of my classes so far and I haven't had any of the dreaded "difficult teachers." I don't know if they're really dreaded, but regardless, all of my teachers thus far have been very cool.

This first year of college has been interesting, though. I've made a few new friends, and of course learned a whole lot of interesting things. I bet you didn't know that the definition of altruism is "doing something with the intent of helping others." Yep. Totally learned that in Psychology. Maybe you did too. If so, cool. But, anyways, I digress. College has been a pretty fun experience thus far and I actually can't wait until the fall to take classes. No, I'm not crazy. What to do now, though? What am I going to do, now that college is done and I'm out until August? Well, I could take a class over the summer.

Yeah, not gonna happen.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do over the summer. I'm just taking a bit of a wait and see approach. Probably I shall attempt to hang with a large amount of people I don't really get to hang with often. It'll definitely be interesting, and I plan on making this summer a blast.

She's Lost Control Again.

Good day to you! So, today's blog is going to be happy for a change. Shocking, right. Though the title of today's blog is from a Joy Division song, which is probably one of the most depressing blog. Today's blog is FULL OF IRONY!! WHAT A TWIST!!!

*ahem*

Anyways, lately, I've been watching the show Undercover Boss. Basically, the premise of the show is this: a CEO of the company goes "undercover", so to speak, into the company they work for, and they try to see what the job is like, and then change things about the company accordingly. But, if you've ever seen commercials for this show, they always make a really crappy pun or play on words about the career and how it's not like they thought it would be. Here's an example: "the CEO of White Castle goes undercover, and finds that working in fast food is more than burgers than fries" or something along the lines of that. Well, I've been trying to think of some of my own terrible puns, hoping maybe CBS will use them for the next season of the show. If it makes it to a second season, I mean. It's not a very good show. But anyways, here's one I thought of:

The CEO of Lays goes undercover to find that the job isn't all that and a bag of chips.

Sound good?

I'll be waiting, America's Most Watched Network.

I Hope You Don't Mind If I Go Out Speaking The King's.

Howdy. So, I'm incredibly bored, and it's late, so I'm blogging. No, it's not a quarter after one. I'm not drunk, and contrary to what Lady Antebellum says, I don't need you know. That song annoys me. I don't need you, Lady Antebellum. Alas, I digress. I don't really know what to blog about, honestly. This tends to be a common problem with me. Oh well.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of thinking. *alert* I've realized that I have only loved two girls in my life, both of them completely different from one another. One, whom I met a little over a year ago and am super close with, has everything in common with me seemingly, and the other, whom I met 4 years ago and am still good friends with, has almost nothing in common with me. Yet, somehow, I think both of them are amazing. I just thought to myself "how could I fall for two girls that are completely different for one another?" and then it hit me: this love thing is actually real. And people who say it isn't are complete morons and should be stabbed in the face with a pitchfork. Maybe not that, but it's stupid if you don't believe in love. To each their own, I guess.

Love is a concept that numerous people have tried to explain with limited success or absolute success, depending on who you ask. I can't even describe it, to be completely honest with you. It's strange, because I've hung out with numerous girls and I've dated numerous girls, all of which are great in their own ways, don't get me wrong, but I've never felt a connection like the one I felt with these two girls 4 years ago and one year ago respectably. I guess love is just one of those things that just.........happens, you know? It's funny to think about. On one side, we have relationships that last for minutes, and then on the other, we hear about couples celebrating their 50th and 60th anniversaries. How does love work?

Bottom line is this: love just exists. Trying to argue otherwise is futile and you're essentially debasing the idea that two people can be in love for such a period of time. I can only hope that I can be the person celebrating his 60th anniversary, looking my love in her eyes, and saying "I love you", and still, after so much time has passed, meaning it as much as I did the moment I first saw her.

That's just love, man.

I'm out.

Our Only Nation Lives In Lucid Dreams.

Good day to you all. So, in today's blog I'm going to attack a certain subject that we all know as...........dreams. Sounds exciting, right? Well, it is. So let's do it!

Alright, so lately in my Psychology class (which isn't my favorite class), we've been discussing dreams and how they come to exist. There are two theories on this: the first being that dreams are symbolic and relate to things going on in our lives, and the other theory being that dreams are just the result of the brain doing a bunch of random stuff while we're asleep. Personally, I agree with the first theory moreso. I've been having a large amount of incredibly odd dreams lately, so I've consulted a website, DreamMoods.com, to help understand these dreams. And, from their interpretations of the different parts of my dream, a large amount of them seem to make sense. Dreams are definitely an interesting phenomenon, and perhaps we'll never know where these dreams come from, but I feel that the first theory is incredibly true about dreams.

Now, I shall explain a few of my dreams that I can remember to you:

1. Basically, I had a dream that a man was chasing me. Yes, the typical "chase" dream. We've likely all had them. Anyways, this man was a rather raggedy looking man (stereotypical homeless gentleman) and he was saying all of this jibberish to me. I ran to my house and he followed me and tried to break into my house, and I grabbed a gun, and I don't remember what happened at that point. Yeah. Sorry to disappoint. I hate dreams like that as well, where all of this crazy stuff happens and I can't remember the ending. It's like watching a movie and leaving 20 minutes early. Unless that movie's a romantic comedy, then you know how it's going to end. But regardless. Anyways, that's dream #1.

2. This dream was actually really funny. This dream involved me and my entire college Psychology class (ironic, is it not?) and our teacher gave us this rather absurd assignment which I can't remember, but only gave us until the end of the class period to completed it. As predicted, this didn't go over well, and one of the students in my class legitly cussed our teacher out and left the class. What was I doing? Well, the only logical thing that a person who's given a huge assignment to finish before the end of the class period does: plays a bass guitar. Wait, what? Yeah, it makes no sense to me either. Weird stuff indeed. Well, dream #2 is down.

3. All that this dream consisted of was me walking around my house and getting ready while the song Hearing Damage by Thom Yorke was playing in the background. Yeah, boring. On to the next one.

4. Insane was what this dream was. Basically, all this dream was was a huge impromptu dance number in the parking lot to Wanna Be Startin' Something by Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, I can't remember any of the dance moves of the dream, but it was absolutely amazing. It was pretty much like this, minus the alien in the teddy suit:

Yeah, awesome, right? That's the kinda stuff that goes on in my head when I'm sleeping. Cool? I thought so too.

Well, that's all for now. I'll be back with more dreams, hopefully. I encourage you to go to DreamMoods.com to interpret your dreams, because it actually is really interesting, and in my case, rather truthful, so if you wish, go there and check it out. But, for now, I'm out. I bid you good morrow. :D

If Your Art Life Is Gritty, You'll Be Toasting My Health.

I actually started on this blog this afternoon, but I never typed anything into it. So I guess I never technically started on it, but........whatever. I'm going with it anyways, because I've got three lines typed already and it looks nice, but by the time the person reads through all of this they will realize that they've wasted a substantial amount of time reading about next to nothing. And now I've gotten them hook, line, and sinker. You might as well keep reading. You're already in. Can't go back now. I promise it'll get more interesting. As soon as I find something noteworthy to talk about.

I have my iPod on shuffle currently, and the most random song just played: Moonlight Sonata. Yeah, by Beethoven. Well, I don't think it's *actually* Beethoven playing on the track. I think he was dead by the time recording equipment was created, but who knows? I could be wrong. Maybe it's a live recording. Well, regardless of whether it's actually Beethoven or not, it's still a solid song. Good stuff, definitely. Classical composers FTW!

Today was an interesting day. I've been in a good mood for the majority of the day, which is shocking for me because something usually comes around and ruins it partially. But today has been good. I did have class tonight, which was a minor setback, but it went fairly well. I had a test tonight in my Computer class, and I'm pretty sure I did really well. Though I forgot a bunch of the parts of the Microsoft Word window, which HE WENT OVER BEFORE CLASS. Oh well, no worries. That was only 10 points of the 40, so it's all good. Still think I did solid.

So, for now, I'm going to end this blog. I just wanted to improvise and attempt to come up with a decent blog today, and it looks like I did a solid job. 10 points for me.

I Really Need To Stop Neglecting My Blog.

So, again, I've neglected you, blog. This is my first post of 2010, and it's come 25 days into the year. Wow, really me? REALLY?! Well, anyways, apologies for my rampant neglect of this blog, but I actually do have quite a few things to blog about lately, so I'll return to this blog and stop being such a terrible person by not blogging. Might as well, eh? Should be fun. Well, I don't really have much interesting to say currently for this blog, but just expect some more blogs. I promise this time. I give you permission to fight me if there isn't an abundance of blogs within a week or two.

Please don't though. I'm not good with confrontation.

Wish me luck. :D

You Seem Very Beautiful To Me.

Merry Christmas Eve to all. And a Merry Christmas too. And Happy Haunakah (and apologies for completely butchering the spelling of that). And Happy Kwanzaa as well. And to Jehovah's Witnesses, well Happy Regular Day, since you guys don't celebrate any holidays.

So, I haven't blogged in 23 days. What I want to say is a combination of me being superstitious about not blogging in 23 days (the Number 23, anyone?) and me talking about how shocked I am that the fine folks here at Blogger.com haven't deleted my blog because of inactivity. So, thank you for not deleting my blog, Blogger, and how weird is it that I haven't blogged in 23 days?!!??!?!? Not that 23 is a recurring number in my life, but I just found it odd. If I were Jim Carrey's character in the The Number 23, I would've been thrown entirely over the edge. Metaphorically speaking of course. I wouldn't have literally been thrown off the edge of something. That didn't happen in the movie. But nonetheless, I digress.

I'm stoked about Christmas, and I hope you all are as well. Because if you aren't............then what the hell is wrong with you? It's freaking Christmas! I'm pumped about it. So with that, I will go off and enjoy my Christmas Eve. I hope you all do the same.

Stay classy!

Poseidon, Look At Me. Whoa, Oh.

Hello there. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break. What's not to like about it? Food. Football. No school. Well, no school if you're going to school. Though I guess if you aren't going to school, you still have no school on Thanksgiving break, but you'd think it wouldn't be all that different. Nonetheless, I had a solid Thanksgiving break. I enjoyed the time off and it was good to get a break from school. However, I had an odd experience that I would like to share.

Yesterday, I was listening to my iPod (60 GB classic FTW!) with this cheap little battery powered speaker that hooks up to the headphone jack. After I finished listening to it.......wait, I guess I wasn't listening to it, so I went to take it off of the speaker, and what happens next?

The headphone jack of the speaker breaks off into my iPod. Son of a bitch.

However, I come up with the idea of using some staples to try and get it out. That doesn't work. So, I think "Hmm......the staples are too thin! We need something thick, yet small!" After this thought runs into my head, I think of using a sewing needle. Well, I don't just think about using one, I actually do use one. Despite my supposedly brilliant thinking (according to absolutely nobody but me), the headphone jack is still stuck inside of my iPod. At this point, I'm freaking out. Well, not really, but I get upset about the situation. Well, not upset, but whatever. Nevermind.

Later, my father (thanks Dad! *thumbs up*) eventually does get the headphone jack out of my iPod. Not sure how, but he did it. He went out in the garage, and came back inside with my iPod, which was lacking a broken headphone jack stuck inside of it. Maybe he used magic and made it levitate out of the iPod. The world may never know, I suppose.

So, this story was fairly pointless, but I'm bored, and that's what was on my mind, so here you are.

I'll Take You To The Seven Seas of Rhye.

Hello world. I need to get back in the blogging phase. Because I never do. Or it seems as though I never do.

Now, to answer the all important question: where have I been? Well, obviously not on my blog. I'd go as far to say that if my blog were a trophy, it would be covered in dust and cobwebs. I've neglected it. I'm a terrible blogowner. Woe is me. Eh, whatever, I'm getting back into the blogging mode. It's like riding a bike, you don't forget. Then again, I never learned to ride a bike. Not sure why. Just issues with the balancing and all. My mom promised me a copy of Paper Mario if I learned to ride a bike when I was in elementary school, and Paper Mario is one of my favorite games ever, but that didn't convince me. So I basically gave up. That's right, kids. If something's too difficult to do, then give up. It's impossible to fail if you never try. Ok, bad advice, but I'm on a roll, and this blog is semi-decently long, so don't stop me.

Crap, now I've stopped. Oh well. This blog turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I basically just winged it. Go me. I'll be back with more at some point. It's time to get back into the mode of blogging. I owe it to you, the reader. Or maybe I don't. Whatever. I'll be back with a new blog soonish.

Don't give up on me.

Toodles.

Doin' Stuff With The Food.

Hello.

So, I recently borrowed the 1st season of Flight of the Conchords from my friend Chris, who is borrowing it from my friend Mitch. Complicated triangle of DVD viewing, isn't it? I'm not sure if that made sense. But anyways, I watched the 1st season of FOTC, and lemme tell ya: it's tremendous. The way they mix their songs in with the hilarious ridiculous stories they have is hilarious. One of the funniest songs on Flight of the Conchords was a song, oddly enough, by a band that isn't FOTC. A band featuring comedians Todd Barry and Demetri Martin, called the Crazy Dogggz (3 g's and a z). You'd likely have to watch the episode of FOTC featuring this song to get the gist of what's going on, but basically:

Todd is a bongo player who Murray, the band's manager, invited to join Flight of the Conchords, but Bret and Jemaine (Flight of the Conchords), want Todd out after he plays ridiculous bongo solos. Eventually, the bands goes to fire Todd, but Todd convinces Jemaine to fire Bret instead. Bret starts a new band with Demetri, a keytar player. The two bands, known as Flight of the Conchords and the Original Flight of the Conchords, play a few gigs together, and then eventually, Todd and Demitri decide to form their own band, called the Crazy Dogggz. They perform the following song, Doggy Bounce. And hilarity ensues:

So, yeah, Flight of the Conchords is great. Check it out for yourself if you can. You won't regret it. Promise.

I've Got Nothing To Say.

Well, the title of this entry should tell you all you need to know about this......entry. Yeah. In all honesty, I have nothing to say. Not literally "nothing," but I don't have any exciting stories from today or anything. Cool? Cool.

Now, you're probably wondering, "Well, if you don't have anything to say, what is this even about?" To be honest with you, the main reason I'm posting is this: this entry will be my 10th of the month, which breaks my previous record of.......whatever my previous record was. I think 9. But don't quote me on that. (Note: you can quote me on that. It's totally true. =D) And I also believe that I had that number in August. But don't quote me on that either. (Note: you can quote me on that as well. Totally truthful. =D)

So, mainly, I just posted this so I would have a month in which I had a double-digit number of blog entries.

Mission accomplished.
